02 / Brush production process
From fibre to finished brush.
How we check quality ↗See the production stages and how each brush moves from prepared fibre through assembly, inspection and packing.

Weigh the fibre
Fibre is weighed per head so density repeats from brush to brush.

Form the head
The weighed bundle is shaped into the head form that brush needs.

Finalise the shape
The head is trimmed and rounded to the profile on the drawing.

Seat the ferrule
The head goes into the ferrule at the depth the shape requires.

Comb and trim
Loose filaments are combed out and the face of the head is levelled.

Measure
Head length and diameter are checked with a caliper against the sample.

Press and glue
Ferrule and head are pressed as one unit, then glued.

Fit the handle
The handle is glued to the ferrule and set square to the head.

Clean and check
Finished brushes are cleaned and checked by hand before packing.

Pack
Bundled, bagged and cartoned to the packing instruction.

Our factory team reviews the brush as a combination of components. Start with the head shape and fibre direction, then define the ferrule, handle, logo placement and finish you want to evaluate. The supplied illustration is a starting reference; the exact combination is checked against the selected model and approved through sampling.
